Bowls and Jars Design

The Bowls and Jars design or “Zir-khaki” first appeared in the Kashmar carpets of Khorasan province. Jars, bowls, vases and other motifs can be seen throughout this design and are woven on a blue and laki background. This carpet is one of the urban-woven carpets and is woven in the eastern regions of Iran. Unfortunately, this design will not be completed due to the decrease in demand and the unwillingness of the weavers.
