These are a pair of Isfahan carpets woven with fine wool and silk. The warps or foundations of these rugs are made of silk. All materials used for weaving were dyed with natural dyes. The age of these beautiful pieces is almost 40 years. You can see many animals like deer, rabbits, birds, and eagles all over the carpet. There is also a large vase in the middle of the rug as a medallion. The density or “Raj” for these hand-woven rugs is 60 knots in 7 cm. “Raj”, we say the number of knots in 7 cm of the rug.
